Sorry to hear of Jim’s passing, Michele. I so enjoyed reading the obituary and learning more about his life than our family knew. It also brought back good memories. My best to you & your family.

Maurice and I were devastated to hear of Jim's passing. Even though he had been sick for a long time it is hard to imagine him gone. He was such a bright spark. We will miss him forever. Our condolences and love to his family in this terrible time. Nancy and Maurice

Michele. Twenty years ago this month I graduated from LHT with James. I was just thinking about this the other day. I am so glad I got to know you both. May his memory bring you joy, always. And may you friends and family be a source of comfort for you. Be well. -Kyra

Jim was the greatest brother-in-law. The greatest. I am thankful I got to tell him so. Jim would smile easily . He was surrounded by a beautiful, loving family; and a wonderful dear circle of friends. Michele and Jim belonged together, and they gave their all to each other. I thought Jim always retained that dry amusement and understanding to what life dishes out. Jim was a very strong man. “ Garden as if you’ll live forever. “ Jim had the strength to do that.

James was a talented Landscape Architect who I will miss as a friend and co-collaborator for over thirty-five years. We last talked over a year ago and I sensed he was struggling. He asked if I had any projects coming up and to remember that he would be available, if I did. Then he added, "But I don't know for how long", before smiling his impish grin.

I will always remember Jim as a good natured, easy to talk to, fun person. A full fledged member of the extraordinary extended Korczowski family. I'm so sorry he's left us. May he rest in peace.
