Janna Roche

Outreach Coordinator

Before moving to Williamsburg in 1998, Janna Roche was Chaplain at Hamilton College in Clinton, New York and spiritual care coordinator at the Utica Hospice.  Since moving to Williamsburg, Janna served both the Hospice House and Patriots Colony Retirement Community as chaplain until she semi-retired four years ago when she became Community Outreach Coordinator for Bucktrout.  Janna is an ordained minister, a certified celebrant, and also has a Death & Grief Studies Certificate.  She and her husband Gene have been residents of Williamsburg for 20 years.  They have one son and two grandsons in New York. In 2018 she published a book “Visiting Hours Are Over – A Chaplain Discovers What Really Matters from Her Parents’ Deaths.”
