Gifts & Memorial Donations

Trevor K. Hayes, 29, passed away on November 20th, 2018. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Russell L. Hayes; great grandmother, Eugenia K. Sutton and great aunts, Betty Carol Sutton and Barbara Sutton.
He is cherished in memory by his mother, Sharon M. Hayes; brother, David E. Hayes; maternal grandmother, Margaret S. Hayes; paternal grandparents, Robert and Faye Satterthwaite; uncles, Michael and Russ Hayes; aunt, Michelle Hayes; as well as many cousins and extended family members.
Trevor was a self-taught mechanic, worked in construction, and restored antique cars. Trevor spent much of his time restoring antiques, working on cars, and taking photographs.
Trevor never passed anyone stranded on the side of the road. He was outgoing, kind, and friendly. He could walk into a room full of strangers and be friends with all of them by the time he left. Through his kindness and good nature he would lift the spirits of anyone who was downhearted. Rarely a day went by without him saying “I love you” to the ones he loved.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A memorial service will be held at Bruton Parish Episcopal Church on December 8th, 2018 at 12:30pm. Please make donations to either the American Heart Association or familiesusa.org, an organization that works to achieve high quality, comprehensive and affordable health care for all. Otherwise, in his memory please write your representatives and demand immediate action to healthcare for all who need it!
