Leslie “Lee” Delbos, 77, of Plymouth, Massachusetts, passed away on June 11, 2021.
He was born in Brockton, Massachusetts on July 29, 1943 to the late George and Mary Delbos.
Lee is preceded in death by his loving wife, Patricia R. Delbos and his brother, George Delbos.
Throughout his life, Lee enjoyed the adventure of the outdoors. He was a sailor, a diver and a pilot who traveled the world during his career as a merchant marine. Indoors, Lee was a devoted husband, father, uncle and grandfather, and an expert engineer who also liked to entertain. Lee was a member of the Propeller Club, the American Maritime Officer’s Union and the Aircraft Owner’s and Pilot’s Association.
He will be cherished in memory by: his sons, Andre Delbos, Brendan Delbos, Lt. Col Jeremy Delbos USMC and Dr. Stephan Delbos; daughters-in-law, Kathleen Cronin, Rachel Delbos, Col Monique C. DeLauter USSF and Amy Huck; grandchildren, Lilah, Rebecca, Theodore and Julian.
Lee was a member of St. Peter’s Parish in Plymouth, as well as My Brother’s Keeper Christian ministry, where he graciously volunteered his time for those in need.
A service will be held at St. Peter’s in Plymouth on August 6 at 10:30 AM.
