I just found out that Joanie passed. We were childhood friends in the old neighborhood in Chicago--inseparable for years. We had a Blast! I will miss her kindness, sense of humor and fierce loyalty. My sincere sympathy to Kevin (who she was So Proud Of!), Claudia, her grandsons and her entire family. I loved the poem that Geri posted in her honor.
