Harold Wayne Holland, 81, of Williamsburg, died Tuesday, December 17, 2019.  Born in Tennessee, he lived most of his life in Williamsburg.  He was a member of Lebanon Christian Church in Lee Hall, Virginia.  He graduated from Virginia Tech in 1960 with an engineering degree.  He spent 2 years in the U.S. Army Reserves and retired as an aerospace engineer for the U.S. Army in Ft. Eustis in 1996.

He was preceded in death by his father, Eschel Garland Holland, and mother, Cora Nell Holland.  He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Margaret Hitchens Holland; son Gordon Fincham (Jaclyn) of Autryville, North Carolina; daughter Robin Wilder Hartman (Paul) of Williamsburg, Virginia; and son Scott Holland of Williamsburg, Virginia; 14 grandchildren: Christopher Trinkle (Meghan), Adam Wilder, Rachel Cicero (Miguel), Hannah Wilder, Paul Fincham (Samantha), Miah Wilder, Richard Fincham (Kelly), Jonah Wilder, Luke Wilder, Abigail Fincham, Hadley Holland, Isabel Fincham, Sophie Holland, and Piper Holland; 10 great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held at Bucktrout Funeral Home, 4124 Ironbound Road, Williamsburg, VA 23188 on Sunday, December 22 from 12:00 – 1:30 pm.  A funeral service will follow at 1:30 pm at Bucktrout Funeral Home, immediately followed by a graveside service at Williamsburg Memorial Park.
