Glenn Melvin Wright of Toano, Va died peacefully with his family by his side on Monday Oct 4th 2021. He is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years Peggy Dawson Wright. He was born in Centralia, VA, son of the late Wilbur and Elizabeth Wright  Preceded in death by his sisters Cynthia Murrey, Sheila Bradshaw, Carol Larossee and Heidi Wright.

Glenn was a retired project manager for commercial construction. He loved to customize classic cars and trucks, build and fly model airplanes, boating and fishing. He could build anything, do anything, fix anything all with kindness and a heart of gold.  His passion was his family and music.

Survived by his daughter Chelsea Wright Jones of New Kent, VA, son Joshua Glenn Wright (Nonnie Wright) of Toano; his treasured grandchildren Cassidy Robertson, Kayla Jones, Jamie Wright, Joshua Wright Jr, Landon Jones, Jordan Wright and Jewel Wright;  sister Terri Jones (Jesse Jones), and brothers Robert Wright (Jenny Wright), Roger Wright and David Wright.

The family will hold a memorial service on Oct 30 at 11:00 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints,  2017 Newman Rd, Williamsburg, VA 23188. Following the service, there will be a Cruise-In reception at 7550 Church Lane in Glenn’s honor. Please drive your classic car or hotrod if you have one.
