Passed Away: November 11, 2021

David B. Meyers, 55, of Williamsburg, passed away on November 11, 2021.

David was born at Williamsburg Community Hospital and remained in Williamsburg his whole life. He graduated from Bruton High School in 1985 and then went on to attend Thomas Nelson Community College. He was a Master and Service Technician, working with Outdoor Equipment, and had the Stihl Masterwrench Service Certification and the Stihl Gold Masterwrench Service Certification. He loved God, family, animals, friends, trains, the Washington Capitals, and cars; he especially loved, Chevy (Chevelle & Square Body Trucks), Buick, and GMC. He enjoyed spending his time working on them.

David is preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Kathryn M. Meyers; and mother-in-law, Joyce J. Hogge. He is survived by his wife, Melissa Meyers; step-daughters, Brittany Ward and Caitlin “Katie” Young; and grandchildren, Jordan Ward, David Young, Jr., and Dylan Kennedy.

The family will receive friends on Friday, December 3, 2021 from 11:00AM to 12:00PM with a service to follow at Bucktrout Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Williamsburg Memorial Park at 2:00PM.
