Arieh Ronnen, 97, of Williamsburg, passed away on June 27, 2018.
When Arieh was younger he played the violin and then the banjo in a youth orchestra. He graduated from the Technion in Israel. He went on to become an engineer, planning and supervising infrastructure projects in Latin America for the United Nations.
Arieh is survived by his wife, Betty Wejnberg Ronnen; son, Asher Bronstein; daughter, Tsipi Ronnen Dovrat; and 10 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 2, 2018 at 11:00am at Bucktrout Funeral Home with a graveside to follow at Williamsburg Memorial Park.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Arieh’s name to Temple Beth El of Williamsburg, 600 Jamestown Rd, Williamsburg, VA 23185.
