Dear Hungerman Family, When I had my accident your family took such amazing care of me, my father, and my family. For such a stressful time in my parents lives, Andy did everything to make it effortless. I remember my dad taking me to Charlottesville weekly for appointments and asking how he could take me with work. He always said, "Andy takes good care of me.' Whenever my dad talked about him it was nothing but the best things and with a smile on his face. He profoundly touched our lives and will be missed. Eileen- I am not sure if you remember me, we lived by you in Col. Williamsburg. I was very saddened to hear of Andy's passing and want you to know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers. I have great memories of him, and will hold those close.

I knew Andy when he was at CW.He would stop and chat, even crossing the street to do so. He was a good man and will be missed.

I worked with Andy for many years at the Carnegie Museums in Pittsburgh. He was a wonderful human being with a great heart, a zest for life, and a strong commitment to service to others. He left his imprint on many lives. My condolences to his family on such a big loss.

It was a pleasure to to know Andy and he will be greatly missed by everyone who came in contact with him. He never met a stranger and would engage anyone within earshot. My thoughts and prayers to all of his family.

Very sorry to hear of Andy's death. He was one of my best friends in high school.

Was for 8 years a classmate with Andrew at St. Frances Xavier grade school. He and I were the only students who against fire drill training retrieved our winter coats during a real fire escape while in 3rd grade. There were circa 600 shivering students and nuns after the evacuation and two toasty warm miscreants. May he rest in peace.

We were so sadden to read about Mr. Hungerman. We recently talked several months ago over the phone, and he truly tried to assist us. May you find comfort in the words of the Holy Bible at John 11:11-14 where Our Lord and Savior Jesus lossed his close friend in death and he referred to it as sleep and that he was going to awaken him from it. Lazarus, Jesus friend was reunited with his family. May you take comfort in this hope and promise in the very near future, be reassured that Mr. Hungerman is resting and not suffering. Our condolences to all his family.

A wonderful human, who cared about others. He showed up at the hospital late in the evening, when I was there to talk and offer his help! He will be rewarded! Thanks for your support and love of mankind!
